Fashion Magazine Habit

This module contains a lot of different things, but a key line is that we are starting to shape your sissy mindset. This means involving you a bit more into the culture of fashion, style and beauty.

In this module, instead of conditioning, you will go out and research fashion. Of course you should put on some music in the background while doing so to get you in the right mindset.

I do recommend you get a handful of real magazines. Having a few on the table adds to the decor and positions you a little more as a fashionista. Of course digital is the sustainable way to go these days and so let us count fashion blogs and websites in the mix.

A few pointers

Honestly, fashion magazines do not always give the best fashion advice, especially for sissies. Articles and editors are often contradictory. But they do give you one important skill: a deeper insight into the culture most women live in.

There are many different magazines all around the world. I started making this list but I really want you to try to make your own, or at least add to the list. Maybe there is local magazines in your language? That should be a priority.

When you do your research you are to:

Look for articles about style and fashion
For now avoid articles that focus on celebrities or gossip, unless it is fashion related.
You goal is to take notice of fashion clothing trends
Look on what styles are promoted - colors, clothing cuts, accessories, what does the style try to say, to whom is this style probably suited for?
Style can be quite different from a teenager to someone above 60, a casual street look or a party outfit - for now anything goes as long as you like it
Collect fashion images over 15 days (at least 5x per day) that you just like the look of in a folder called “Fashion Inspiration”
Try to limit each research day to one source, so about 5x images per source
Use pinterest, tumblr, instagram, google images and so forth if you do not find good material on the magazine sites linked below. Try to use the magazine websites as inspiration and guide on what words, trends, looks, styles to search for!

(As always, you may adjust your research to fit your life, you may do multiple days on one day to catch up, or take a pause if you need to)

Later on we will share your fashion inspiration with the group and you will get to do some window shopping and collect styles you like into different folders. A heads up is that we will collect fashion for “Casual Winter”, “Casual Summer”, “Business”, “Elegance”, “Party”, “Workout”, “Beach” and a category or two of your own choosing.
