Foundations 9 - Minor Shopping

Hi cutie,

I hope you slept well last night.

Today we are doing shaving.

Almost every sissy has mastered at least some of the knowledge, skills, and everyday habits that we teach here at the Academy. It is great if you are already familiar with a topic we cover. That just means you have a chance to refine your technique even further. So what do you do if you already keep yourself smooth and clean every day? You read through the letter as usual, follow along, and make sure you understand the instructions and orders given. Like all the other sissies, you mark that you did your daily ritual in your Sissy Training Book every day. It does not matter if you shave using a cream, a razor, an electric razor, an electric epilator or using tweezers. If you end up having hairless legs—for whatever reason—then you can mark off shaving.

Sometimes, even if you have the skills, there is more to learn. Keeping track of an old habit is also important when building so many new ones with daily rituals. We do not want you to lose or destabilize one habit just because you are learning others.

Your daily habit is an important part of your routine. Trust in it. Commit to it at a time that suits you. Make it fit into your life as best you can. It’s okay if you need to go slower than others or than the Academy materials seem to indicate. If you cannot do your ritual on Wednesdays, then do not do it. Be honest in your reporting. This does not mean you are a bad student; it means you are a good student who realizes that sticking with the training over the long term requires that you keep your life and work in balance with your training, too.

Right now you have two major rituals you do each day to create your habits.

Those two things are your daily ritual and your daily conditioning. For some sissies with full, complicated or tricky lives, you might not be able to do these every single day. What we call these concepts might not be ideal, but the essence here is that everyone has things they do daily. Things they do each and every day throughout their entire lives. For example: go to bed, sleep, eat food, drink liquid, go to the toilet, brush their teeth, and so forth. We are just expanding a bit on that.

Today we are starting your shopping spree—unless you were so excited that you’ve already bought what you need! ;)

Remember to note down all your purchased items in your Sissy Budget. Keeping track of your spending will be more and more important as you progress, so that is why we start early to build that habit now that spending decisions are easy.

We are also planning to add the shopping and budgeting functionality to a future version of the Sissy Training Book so you can have it all in one place.

Your shopping list

  • A pair of panties.

  • Depilation cream.

  • Shaving equipment.

  • Skin lotion.

  • Face moisturiser.

  • Face cleanser.

If you have an electric epilator or do frequent salon waxing or diode laser hair removal or have no hair on your lower body, then you are all good in that department of course.

A pair of panties

Already have a pair? No matter, sissy. The goal here is to get you a pair that will complement and improve your new skills at creating a nice feminine front.

Important things to consider:

  • The size is not too small

  • The size is not too big and loose

  • They should cover your tucked clitty properly

  • They should be made of a strong material that helps hold everything in place

Anything called “shapewear” is usually perfect for making a smooth front. Any type of cut should work, but our initial recommendation to start is a boyshort, bikini or hipster cut.

However all sissies are different. A few are already so small down there that they can do fine with just one or two pairs of normal cotton panties. Others feel they need a special gaff or shapewear.

There is tons more to learn about panties, but that is for another session.

Go search for panties online now and order a pair. The goal is to get to know your female size and favourite cut for now. So do not go and order 20 pairs at once. Instead, go for a few different ones so you can explore and experiment a bit. Open your Sissy Budget spreadsheet. Be considerate of your budget despite your excitement. Think of the long term.

Fashion sense, colours, frills and all that comes with time.

Depilatory cream

If you do not keep everything below your neck shaved at all times, then you might be new to depilatory creams. Most grocery stores have them as well as most sex toy shops. They do not permanently remove your hair. They let you “scrape” off your hair after applying the cream and waiting a few minutes. Be sure to review the instructions provided with the product you buy.

The process is painless unless you leave the product on your skin too long or get the cream in a wound or have irritated or very sensitive skin. Get some and try it out.

Once you have some depilation cream, get smooth and hairless the next time you get into girl mode. Preferably during your next ritual session.

Skin lotion, moisturiser, and cleanser

Most grocery stores tend to have basic items like these. We encourage you to get the pinkest and girliest versions you can manage. Just try to push yourself, even if it seems a bit scary. Order online if you feel you have to.

I mostly recommend getting cheap products at this point unless you know your way around these kinds of items. Over time you will learn which products are high quality and worth spending a fortune, and which are just famous brands, contain mostly water, or have toxins.

After you get out of the shower from now on, you will start a new ritual. You will build the after-shower habit of rubbing lotion into the skin all over your body and cleaning your face with your facial cleanser, followed by applying face moisturiser. This is the foundation of a good skin care routine. It will make you ready for any applications or tasks later on.

You probably are not going to use depilation cream every other day to keep your hair away. You need to master shaving or you are bound to embarrass yourself around other girls eventually.

When looking for a razor, I highly recommend a premium brand with multiple blades instead of the super cheap ones—the difference is huge. If you have thick hair, you might have to replace a cheap, disposable razor several times per shave. A premium one, on the other hand, can cost ten times as much but it can last for months. It almost pays for itself. I really recommend picking a girly, pink shaving cream or gel since they usually smell the best, but the choice is yours.

Here is a short shaving tutorial. It explains which razor type to use and how shaving gel works.

Shaving routine

You need to get a shaving routine going. For most sissies, this will mean shaving every other day. Just make sure you are smooth. You are making yourself ready to be smooth and groomed at any time. The best is going to be that silk smooth feeling when you go into bed, or when you put on a pair of stockings.

Your excuse

Eric Anderson, a sociologist and sexologist from the University of Winchester, explains how men came to stop worrying and love the blade. We are much less fearful of being branded “gay” for doing things associated with femininity, he says. “This gives them the ability to have a much broader range of gendered behaviours. Over the last decade, we've seen men's fashion styles become highly feminised. Youth just are not wrapped up in restrictive old school ways of being a male.”

What year is it? Exactly. First of all, being groomed does not mean you are gay. Second, a phobic fear of being seen as gay just is not manly or confidence-inspiring, it’s kind of silly and it shows.

As a sissy, you should also aim to be ready to go out and be groomed at all times. Very few partners are looking for a sissy with body hair, so be sweet and considerate and take care of your grooming. All pro athletes shave their legs, body hair does not go well with any kind of tight clothes.

To make it fair to everyone, you are going to have a few options. Your situation might call for going slower or faster. If you are not with a girl at the moment, then just shave all body hair (you are going to love it!). If you have a very good reason not to, then you may skip this for now but keep in mind that we will ease you into it over time so have no worries that you are left out.

In your calendar, use a light color to note the days you are committed to shaving and then fill them in with a darker color once you have finished shaving. In the beginning, shaving can feel a bit boring. As you begin to experience just how good your smooth skin feels, you will no longer be able to stand that pesky hair. It will be a habit you will not want to break. Trust us, it is inevitable! The only comment sissies ever make after starting to shave is that they wish they had started sooner.

Write down your additions so you can easily keep track of your commitments and new routines. I hope your conditioning is going great as well.

Warmly,

Secretary Sarina
