Academy 11 - Potential 2 - Let's talk about sex (work)

Hello girls.

For our students, “career” covers two broad categories. One is something more akin to a semi/completely permanent sexual role such as a Sissy Maid, Feminized Test Subject or Head Mistress’ favourite Sissy Slave Girl, this is the focus for about 90% of the students who study in person at the Academy.

They are either sent here by the owner (or potential owner, parent(s), partner, dominant etc) or enrol on their own initiative and are trained for their chosen role until that becomes who they are.

It’s treated as a career, but it should be clear from even this brief description that it goes far beyond what most people would consider a job. Imagine if your job was the sole source of your sexual pleasure and all of your thoughts were either about doing your job, working out how to do it better or feeling bad because you weren’t doing your job?

The courses I linked to at the Academy Store allow remote students to experience this in their day-to-day lives without having it consume them to the same degree it would if it was their everything.

This is where I come from. My background is as a dominant, I’ve trained any number of sissies and subs but I reached a point where I realised I wanted more and less than what I had. The dominant part of things became less and less appealing to me but the “helping others find their path” side of it all became everything.

I’d met Head Mistress Alyssa a few times and even considered applying to be on staff at the Academy but at the time, I’d felt myself falling out of love with the dominance/submission thing and decided it wasn’t fair to either party if I applied for a job at the Academy.

Once I’d worked through my issues and solved my problems I had a much clearer idea of what I wanted and even better, what I could offer so I spoke to Alyssa again and suggested what would eventually become the Academy’s Career Department.

Let this be a lesson to you all, I didn’t want to be the typical dominant and trying to fit that mold almost drove me to drop it completely. It was only when I took a step back and asked myself what I did want, that I was able to find my path and my calling (and even better, now I don’t have to be a dominant, I can take plenty of pleasure in it when I am!).

The type of career I mentioned already isn’t what we’re going to be focusing on in these letters, we’re going to be looking at the more usual definition of a career (or you may prefer job or occupation or profession) which is work you perform for money.

Don’t worry though, I’m not about to suggest you buckle down, study hard and go work in an office for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week! This is the Sissification Academy so we’re going to be looking at ways you can use your sissification for profit, what you may have heard been referred to as sex work.

Aims and what we’re not going to cover

I won’t tell you what we will be covering (you’ll find out soon enough) but there is one thing we won’t have a letter on that a lot of you might think is a glaring omission. I’m talking about the “world’s oldest profession” aka prostitution.

This shouldn’t be taken as a slight against it or those who carry it out, prostitution is an ancient and honourable calling but it’s also one that has a number of unique issues surrounding it including, but not limited to, safety, legality and it’s rather public nature. This means that if we were to include it, it would take up rather a lot of space and even then, it’s not something the vast majority of you would (or should) be interested in.

Someone once said, “do what you love and you won’t work a day in your life” and that’s what we’ll be talking about here. The kind of sex work we’ll be dealing with will be things that can be done purely for fun but we’ll be looking into ways you can monetise them.

You’ll be able to do them from your own home and even better, most of you should already have the equipment you need!

The other thing to keep in mind is the fullness of the term “sex work”. As always, the sex does tend to attract a lot of the attention, so much so that people can miss the work that follows swiftly after but, although we would all love for it ot be otherwise, it’s unavoidable! Like any job, you need to make an effort and work at it if you’re to have any hope of succeeding.

I know a lot of people look at the internet and see successful sex workers (or even just successful people in general) and assume they just fell into their success or had it easy but that’s always an illusion. Any overnight success story will tell you how they worked for years to get anywhere and that’s leaving aside the ongoing efforts they have to make just to keep the place they’ve ended up in.

On the bright side, as a sissy you’re used to having to make an effort to get yourself off or look feminine or any other number of little things that a lot of others take for granted, so just carry that over to your work and you should be fine.

Legal note

I mentioned it briefly in regards to prostitution but one of the things we can’t possibly cover for everyone but that you need to be aware of is the legality of what you’re doing.

In a lot of places, sex work in the privacy of a private residence is legal and even if it’s not quite that clear cut, the authorities will turn a blind eye because they either don’t care enough or can’t/won’t spare the resources to crack down on it but you should always check and make sure before you commence whatever you’re planning.

We always try to be conscious of our student’s safety so make sure you take care of it too! Don’t let your excitement get out of hand and lead you to do something you end up regretting when a slightly cooler head and a little more time would have avoided it.

Skipping your preparation and due diligence so you can start a week or two early is never a good idea and that goes double where the potential downside for getting it wrong can be so large. Horny people aren’t going anywhere (honest, look at pretty much all of recorded history!) you’ve got plenty of time so take advantage of that and lay the groundwork first.

Goals

As for what you can achieve, that’s in your hands. I wouldn’t recommend you quit your job (if you have one) as soon as you finish reading this letter because you assume you’ll be making more money than you can count before very long because that’s on the less likely side of the scale.

Luckily, the things we’re going to be covering can be worked on and carried out alongside a “proper” job or studies or anything like that. You can have this as something on the side that with some work and some luck can turn into something bigger.

Even if the worst comes to the worst and you never make any money, you’ll still have more fun trying than you can believe and you’ll meet people and make friends you’ve never dreamt of!

The last module covered setting goals and working towards them, so always keep in mind that the sky's the limit but if you fall short that doesn’t mean you failed. Maybe you earn enough to pay for toys and clothes? That sounds like success to me.

Homework

Some of you might have had a reaction to the term “sex work”, there is a lot of stigma surrounding it and a lot of people have a lot of concerns on even something as basic as if it should even be a viable option.

Some of the people who have concerns are well-intentioned but poorly informed, some are outright disingenuous and are merely playing a wider game of trying to outlaw anything beyond purely procreational sex and there are many stripes in between.

For your homework, I’m going to ask you to dig your toes into this particular quagmire a little by watching this video. It covers a lot of the basic issues surrounding sex work and features something most of these kinds of conversations lack, an actual sex worker, so you know this isn’t a purely theoretical discussion.

You may be tempted to skip this or assume it won’t ever apply to you but if you’re planning on trying any of this, you need to watch the video and become familiar with the points it raises.

Maybe your Twitter account disappears overnight, maybe a site you relied on for your income has suddenly brought in a lot of new rules and limited the amount of money you can make there because a minor reality star tried to run a scam on the site or maybe PayPal or another payment provider has suspended your account for some reason? Take the time and make sure you’re informed! Even if you’re not planning to try it, it’s still worth watching so you can speak a little more authoritatively on the subject.

The author also recently came out as a trans woman, so you might want to check out her more recent videos too.

Next time we meet, we’ll get down to brass tacks and look at a potential career path for you so enjoy the video and we’ll speak again soon.
