Academy 11 - Potential 14 - Exam Time!

Hello girls.

It’s that time again. This is the last letter in the module and we’re going to leave you with some work to do over your inter-module break.

For those of you who don’t “exam” well, don’t worry! This isn’t a straight-up pass/fail test, in fact, it’s something that you should find very enjoyable.

Bed Time

You’ve been working on building your pre-bedtime routine during the module and now we’re going to put that to use and you’re going to get creative.

You have 3 essays to write and each should take you a week. This should be something you do in the space where you usually read your romance novel, you’re in bed but not quite ready to go to sleep. Use that 10-15 minutes to work on your exam over 7 days. If you finish it early, use the extra time to reread and edit or improve your work.

How to

In a similar way to how reading a physical book is better than reading a book on your phone, writing these essays on paper is the best choice. It can be a journal, diary or notebook and whatever pen you have to hand.

If this isn’t an option, then make three documents in your Google Drive, name them with the titles of the essays and write them on your phone. It won’t be quite the same but it will still be very good.

Work to the time you have, don’t be tempted to delay going to sleep so you can work on them, you have plenty of time to get it done.

What to write

Your three essays are “My Perfect Night”, “My Perfect Date” and “My Perfect Life”. Use your name in place of “My”, e.g. “Jonie’s perfect night”.

Your night essay should be a sexual encounter, your date covers your preparation and the date and your life covers everything! You want to lean towards realism, so don’t overload them with too much and if your date involves you drinking a magic potion and turning into a cat woman, then I’d go back to the drawing board!

The key things to keep in mind are to make it personal, it’s your perfect night not a perfect night and to include some specifics, “I applied my makeup” is a little basic, “I put on my usual makeup and finished it off with a slash of my favourite bombshell red lipstick and shiny gloss” is much better

A lot of the module has been working towards this, so trust your efforts so far relax and let it all flow through you.

Once you’ve finished them, you can go back to your romance novels and we’ll see you in a month at Module 12.
